Privacy Notice

This notice explains the information Quadmegle processes when you use its random video chat and safety tools.

Information processed

Why information is used

Information is used to provide live chat, maintain security, investigate abuse, enforce bans, protect users, and meet legal obligations. Safety and anti-abuse processing is carried out to operate and protect the service and its users.

Retention

Submitted report records and video evidence are retained for up to 90 days, unless they must be kept longer to investigate serious abuse, establish legal claims, or comply with law. Temporary live-room state is removed when sessions end. IP blocks may be retained while a ban remains necessary.

Sharing and service providers

Other room participants receive the technical information required for browser-to-browser communication. Cloudflare Turnstile processes anti-bot verification data. AntiVPN.io receives connecting IP addresses to identify VPNs, proxies, and anonymisers; Quadmegle caches the result for 30 days to limit repeated disclosures and API requests. Hosting and network providers process traffic needed to deliver the site. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to address immediate safety risks.

Your choices and rights

You can leave a room at any time, disable camera or microphone access in your browser, and avoid submitting an optional report description. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Contact

Privacy questions and rights requests can be raised through the Quadmegle Discord community. Do not post personal or report information in a public channel.
